To improve the health of the working uninsured residing in Houston County.
OUR MISSION
The Houston County Volunteer Medical Clinic opened in January 2005 with funding from Houston Healthcare, Houston Medical Center Auxiliary, Healthcare of Central Georgia, as well as individuals and businesses.
The doctors, nurses, residents, and medical professionals all volunteer their time to provide primary care services three days per week.
The clinic depends on United Way of Central Georgia, grant funding, and generous donations from businesses and individuals which allow us to provide free, quality, and compassionate medical care as well as prescription assistance to the working uninsured of Houston County. We receive no government funding.
